A high-rise blooms - thanks to precast elements
In the Swiss community of Risch-Rotkreuz, the Zug Estades Group is transforming a former industrial area into modern living space. An exceptionally successful office and residential building there is the "Aglaya Garden Tower" with 85 high-quality apartments and 1800 m² of office space.
One of the special features of the 70-meter-high tower is its intensively planted facade, which attracts all eyes from spring to fall and enhances the quality of life for residents. The key to this is large plant troughs made of prefabricated concrete elements that also form the facade. Responsibility for the troughs and all precast elements - from planning and element design to production - was in the hands of Nägele, a company based in Röthis.
Sophisticated precast concrete elements from Nägele
The Nägele precast concrete and ready-mix concrete plant is located in Vorarlberg and is a subsidiary of the Bodner Group. What began more than 100 years ago as a simple master mason business is now one of the most modern production plants for sophisticated precast concrete parts weighing up to 40 tons. Nägele's central success factors are many years of know-how, meticulous planning, exact cost estimation and the use of the best materials and state-of-the-art equipment. For many years, Nägele has relied on PLANBAR from Allplan for efficient planning and element placement.
